Questions..new to low carbing

This a recent comment I made on a previous thread over at Jimmy Moore regarding low carb diet

Thanks so much for your helpful answers…I am finding the entire low carb experience extremely rewarding and very easy to maintain…The weight loss is wonderful…

I have another question…Today is day 1 of week 3 for me and I am experiencing headaches and dizziness…

Nothing has changed…. my carbs remain at 25g per day….a few days I have only made it to 20 carbs …and my carbs come mostly from vegetables, dairy and some berries…

Is there something I am doing wrong?

Hi Debs,

Headaches and dizziness are typically a sign of dehydration and electrolyte imbalance so as Tacosaurus has said, yes up your salt and potassium intake as well as both are vital for many bodily functions but do be assured that it’s unlikely you’re doing anything wrong if you’re following the plan. It’s just something that many of us have to go through during this stage of our dietary change.
