Slimming teas

Many teas can be beneficial for health as can many infusions. However I would steer clear of ones that claim to be able to block fat absorption.

Fat that we digest brings with it numerous benefits none of which we would want to do without.

Now if you could find a tea that helps you burn fat that’s something that would be worth looking at more closely.

Cheers,

Goal Weight

1326389849EDW209

In truth how much we weigh is really only an indicator of excesses. It’s no indicator of how we as an individual should be that’s because our actual weight can be determined by huge range of things. Height is an obvious one then there’s frame size, bone density and inherited body composition. That in turn will be influenced by our medical history, our history of exercise practice and on a very basic level our ethnic origin.

So you can see that with those nine or ten factors an ideal weight for each of us compared with our height means very little except as I said to show if we are over the top.

However in order to address the problems that you are talking about, probably the most efficient way of dealing with things like belly fat and so forth is exercise particularly exercise done whilst in ketosis as part of it’s self preservation “reprogramming”, the body will not allow muscles that are used regularly to waste but it will obviously require nutrients in order to maintain effective muscle strength and even growth.

During ketosis it will most effectively obtain that from body fat or rather I should say excess body fat. So if you want to re sculpture your body stay in ketosis, follow a sensible exercise regime that covers most of your muscle groups and allow your body to use the excess fat in order to supply your body’s needs. Within a very short time you’ll notice that belly fat disappearing and the body you can be proud of taking its place.

Hope that helps,

Mark

How great to have just discovered you guys!

Many of our health concerns will certainly be addressed by following a low carbohydrate diet and we need not worry about it being too good to be true as fairly quickly we will start to see results for ourself that will prove just how effective this way of eating really is in both restoring and promoting good health.

For years the general population has been encouraged to eat a diet that is not optimal for nourishing the human body. This has led to many many different health problems and complications due to what is in effect poor nutrition.

A low carb diet is far more suitable for humans to consume as it’s a lot more closely aligned to what our digestive system is designed to process. This in turn allows our body to use its finite capacity to deal with the problems that beset us on a daily basis. Because of that it seems that the low carb diet is working miracles whereas in reality it’s just allowing our body to work in it’s most natural and efficient way.

The best advice I can give you is to keep steady with this diet and allow your body time to adjust and repair as both the issues you’re concerned about and many more that you may not even have thought about are dealt with and you come to experience a new level of health that you may have not known previously.

Hope that helps,

Mark

Omega 3 Feedlot Beef

130049385391lWrOAs far as buying beef goes I prefer my beef to be naturally raised without any additives and in fact the same criteria hold true for eggs.

The first criterium I have is that the farmer has raised them on natural food because if you think about it in both cases, not so long ago farmers didn’t have the choice or the need even to put additives in their food because the food they were giving their animals was better quality.

For my mind the whole thing about Omega-fed beef, Omega 3 eggs or Omega 3 anything is really a moot point. What’s far more important is that the diet the animal received during its life was as close to 100% natural as possible because let’s face it, if we are short of Omega 3 or anything like that we can take the supplements directly far more effectively and that means that we won’t have to pay stupid prices just because the egg or the beef or the whatever has got Omega 3 all over the label.

Mark

Low Carb and Anxiety

433px-Digestive_system_diagram_edit.svgMany people don’t realize how important their stomach and their digestive system is in relation to other bodily systems. How our stomach “feels” can and does have a huge impact on our emotional being far more than many people have thought although thankfully science is catching up with many of the ancient practices and wisdom that did understand this, ancient Chinese medicine being at the forefront of that understanding.

I don’t know about you but I was a comfort-eater. Secretly many men are which if that was the case for you, then you have in essence taken away your comfy blanket so it shouldn’t be too much of a surprise to find that you are feeling more anxious about not having the food that you used to rely on to give you comfort and as a therapist you would know exactly that the body will follow precisely our inner thoughts, hopes and aspirations far more exactly than our rational conscious decisions.

One of the best ways around this is to make sure that you have a big enough reason “why” you want a new body as it were and give yourself a profound set of goals.

Hope that helps,

Mark

Need to stop weighing myself daily

http://www.dreamstime.com/-image3043233

Taking your body measurements around the neck, bust, chest, stomach, hips and thighs is always a good idea when we start any weight loss journey because as others have said the scales do lie.

The tape measure however doesn’t lie as much but the great thing is they seldom lie together. I do recommend also that people take a set of clothes that were snug when they first started the diet and try those on once a week to see how the fit is changing. You can also measure yourself once a week as well.

I would normally recommend people measure, weight and see how loose the clothes are getting just once a week all on the same day but if you prefer to have more ongoing encouragement you can do all those on different days so you’re still doing each of them once a week but you’re getting an encouragement every two or three days, say.

So measure your weight on Monday, see how your clothes fit on Wednesday and jump on the scales on Friday or Saturday and don’t forget to keep a record of each one because that way you’ll see the numbers slowly descending and even though the weight may not be going down, you might find you’re losing inches and even though the inches may not be going down you might find that the fit of your clothes has got loser. I’m sure you get the picture.

Hope that helps,

Mark
